These peppers are small and thin-walled making them great for appetizers and snacks. They are not spicy and are usually 100 times milder than jalapeno peppers. Although, it is said that about 1 in every 10 peppers will be spicy. So go ahead grab a bunch and tempt fate! Shishito is best served grilled or blistered. Sprinkle with sea salt or soy sauce.
