Narumiya’s history dates back to 1923 with its roots as a mochi store in Kyoto. Narumiya okaki products are made with carefully selected ingredients with a particular focus on rice and water. Okaki is a traditional Japanese snack made from glutinous rice. The rice is steamed and pounded into mochi and then undergoes low-temperature drying and finally baked to make crunchy rice crackers. The rice used is 100% glutinous rice from Saga Prefecture.
