The Mentaiko originated in Korea, there known as a myeongran jeot. This product is already removed from its sack and ready for cook. Popular dish using it is “Tarako Spaghetti,“ combine Butter, Mayonnaise(Optional) and Tarako or Mentaiko(removed from the sac) and mix them into boiled spaghetti. Sprinkle with shredded ao nori (laver), or other toppings as desired.
