Bonito flakes, known as katsuobushi in Japanese cuisine, are made from dried, smoked and shaved fish. The flakes are a primary ingredient in Dashi, a Japanese stock, and you can sprinkle it on the top of foods like Okonomiyaki, Miso soup, Udon, etc..

This Hana-Katsuo is collaborated with our original brand, Miyako and exclusively made only with line-caught fish. As a result, the fish do not sustain damage and the highest quality can be ensured.
